Accreditation

We're Accredited!

In September of 2023, IELS was evaluated by an accreditation team from the Consortium of Classical Lutheran Education (CCLE). At their November 16, 2023 meeting, the CCLE voted to award IELS with full accreditation.

Along with CCLE accreditation, we also expect to be awarded NLSA (National Lutheran School Accreditation) at the next meeting of the NLSA board.

The CCLE board’s decision means that we are hitting the mark. It means that we are committed to consistently delivering truth, goodness and beauty to our students in a way that will prepare them for a life of faith toward God and love for their neighbor. In our world, these high standards are slipping away. There is constant pressure to expect less of our students and to accomplish less in the classroom. And there is pressure to abandon the moral and spiritual foundation of the Scriptures.

But we want more for our students. We want them to know God’s Word of forgiveness and life in Christ and to be well-equipped for life as faithful, virtuous Christians. And we believe that our world desperately needs them to be leaders who love the truth and live by the wisdom of God.
